Lagmonster Survivors

About the Lagmonster Survivors Lineage Project

I am participating in the Lagmonster Survivors Lineage Project on the DC Forums.

At the beginning of March '09 the cave was struck by the Lagmonster. For about two weeks due to problems with the (then) host of the DC server the cave was inaccessible most of the time. Eggs died. Hatchlings Died. The Lagmonster reigned supreme. We were placed on a temporary server while the real server made its long journey to its new home. This gave us access to our dragons. TJ revived any eggs and hatchlings that died due to downtime. They lived again!

A lot of people ended up naming their 'Lag' dragons with lag in the name somewhere to commemorate their survival.

To be a part of the Lagmonster Survivor Lineage the dragon you use to start the lineage must have been on your scroll, either as an egg or hatchling just before the lag started, or have been obtained during the lag and must have "lag" or "lagmonster" somewhere in their name. Children of lag survivors that you keep must have "lag" or "lagmonster" somewhere in their name. At least one parent must have "lag" or "lagmonster" somewhere in their name in every generation following the original Lag survivor.

On March 17, 2009 during what should have been a successful Adopt-A-Green/Mint Day on DC, a dark creature simply known as "The LagMonster" attacked the cave, disabling it for almost 2 weeks. I was lucky enough to get 3 eggs out of that ordeal. And now, we have a chance to breed those survivors and make the family bigger and stronger!

Breeding

Male Dragon Female Dragon
Lag Of The Irish Erin Go Lag
Earth Dragons
have tried breeding together but there was no interest.
Peadar Urquhart
Stone Dragon
made it through the lag, but did not receive a lag-ish name.

If you want to be a part of this project, but don't have a Lag dragon you can request an egg from one of the first gen breeders. Here is a list of people who are breeding their lags if you'd like to request any.

Back to Dragons.
