Adoption Days are usually the first Saturday or Sunday within a month but adopting can be done at any time. It's all about collecting eggs from the Abandoned Page in the upper and/or lower right hand corners, no matter what kind of egg it is. Once the baby hatches, it can be frozen or grown to adulthood but it cannot be killed, abandoned back or released into the wild. And to distinguish the fact that the dragon is an adoptee, the words 'Orphan', 'Foundling', 'Waif', 'Ragamuffin', 'Stray', 'Urchin', or 'Flotsam' must be in the name of the dragon somewhere.
